Dear Reader,
What a wonderful year it has been, and it’s not even February yet! Thanks to all of you, MONTANA BRIDE debuted at #8 on the New York Times paperback bestseller list on January 26. I was fortunate to do a radio interview with Debbie Macomber and Rhett Palmer, “Vero’s Voice,” which may also have contributed to a few of those sales.
My publisher has prepared a wonderful YouTube trailer for MONTANA BRIDE which you might want to check out:
Over The Moon
I’m over the moon that the Denver Broncos will be playing in the Super Bowl on February 2. I’ll be all decked out in my “United in Orange” t-shirt for the Broncos vs. Seahawks game, which I’ll be watching with friends at home. I wish I could be there, but my next Bitter Creek novel, SINFUL, which is scheduled for publication in November, is due to my editor on February 18, so I need to stay home and write!
I did my goals for the year with Debbie Macomber in January. I’ll let you know at the end of the year how well I’ve done achieving them. Beginning February 3, I’ll be doing a one-month on-line class, 30 Days to a Balanced Life, with special guests Kathy Smith and Melissa Costella, which you can follow on my Facebook page . I’ll be tweeting about my progress at www. twitter.com/joanjohnston.
New Reissue!
To make the new year even nicer, I have a favorite contemporary western reissued this week. HEARTBEAT is a story of justice, secrets, and a love that can heal all wounds. Here’s a peek:
Dedicated Texas Ranger Jack Kittrick is hard on the trail of a killer who is preying on the helpless in a large San Antonio hospital . . . a hunt that leads him to Maggie Wainwright, the beautiful, enigmatic legal eagle who had access to the victims—and a motive for the crimes. The more Jack learns about Maggie, the more this secretive lady—who makes his spurs tangle and his heart run wild—enthralls and perplexes him. Read more …
Hope your new year is going well. Do stay in touch! I appreciate all your e-mails of support and am answering them as quickly as I can.
Take care and happy reading,
