Dear Reader,

It’s hard to believe that snow has appeared in my mountain view. With Thanksgiving here, it’s time to set the dinner table and go through my holiday recipes including my all-time favorite, delicious mashed potatoes that you can make a day ahead:

Peel 8 large baking potatoes. Boil, mash, and add ½ stick of butter, 8 ounces of sour cream, and 3 ounces of Philadelphia cream cheese. Mix well and put into a 9″ x 9″ Corning ware baking dish. Dot the top with the remaining 1/2 stick of butter. Sprinkle with paprika and put in the refrigerator overnight. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees and bake for 1/2 hour (or until warm) prior to serving.

Book News!

Shameless_120

My new novel SHAMELESS, the sequel to SINFUL, which is scheduled for release December 29, got a fabulous review from Publishers Weekly, which said: “Johnston’s novel is a fast-paced, warm, and truly romantic story, and reader’s will savor the idyllic setting of the beautiful Wyoming countryside.” To read the entire PW review click here.

SHAMELESS features Pippa Grayhawk–scorned, pregnant and facing a life without promise–and Devon Flynn, who lives in an isolated cabin away from his domineering father and the scandal surrounding his family.

More Good News!

Harlequin has put a great new cover of my novella TAMING THE LONE WOLF, originally published as part of an anthology in 2001. I was thrilled to see it released this month as an ebook and with this beautiful new cover. Lovely, isn’t it? Order here.
