Mea Culpa. Mea Culpa. Mea Maxima Culpa!
I want to apologize for mistakenly sending an email reminder to my
entire contact list (my bad!) to post a review of SURRENDER by January 30 when that note was meant exclusively for my Review Crew list. I’m honored that so many of you have written back expressing an interest in joining my Review Crew. At this time, my Review Crew is full, but I promise to let you know if a spot opens up. My sincere apologies for all the confusion!
If you’ve written to me personally, I will be responding to each and every email, but it may take a little time for me to get back to you. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
Of course, I will be over the moon if you decide to read Surrender and review it after it is released February 28. You can pre-order your copy from your favorite bookseller through my website by clicking here.
New Addition to My Dining Table Decor
I’m always looking for a bargain, and when Charming Charlie’s (the jewelry store where I used to shop) decided to go out of business–and sell everything at bargain prices–I couldn’t resist this crystal chandelier. Only problem, I had to find someone to take it down, and then put it back up. I removed the 15 pounds of crystals myself (and washed them all), and found an electrician to both remove and install it. I have to admit I grin every time I walk into my dining room. It’s so ridiculous. And so elegant.
I’m trying to decide between making a hearty spaghetti and meatballs dinner or Thai chicken pasta for my next dinner party. I love my meatball recipe, which is loaded with three different kinds of cheese, along with garlic and tomatoes. My Thai chicken pasta is made with Serrano peppers, while the Cardamom pods in the rice add a nice kick. Which way would you go?
I love the ocean theme for my upcoming party. I couldn’t resist these cute octopus napkin rings. He even has tiny eyes. And I found some great table place holders with shells that match perfectly. I’ve had the octopus candle holders for a while, and the fish centerpiece I bought when I was doing goals one year with my friend Gloria. I’m reusing the table scatter, and I have some new pelican salt and pepper shakers. This will be a GIRLS ONLY dinner party. I’m looking forward to everyone sharing lots of good gossip and interesting life experiences during our evening together.
